When to create a new partition on a hard disk, there must be either unallocated or empty space on the hard disk of free space within an extended partition on the hard disk. If not, you can create some by shrinking an existed partition, deleting a partition, or by using a third-party partition program.
When need to create partition?
There are many conditions you need to create partition. e.g.: one of your data and the other for your system.
We suggest that you’d better create more than two partitions for your hard disk to guarantee handle the data and system separately and easily.
1.Launch MiniAide Fat32 Formatter
2.Select the unallocated space and right click the mouse to choose Create partition.
3.In the type box, you can select logical/ primary partition, the disk name, file system, and the partition size by yourself(the free space must be inside of the extended partition).
Then the new partition will have been created.
5.To save the changes, click “Apply”>
When the computer restarts, the operating system will assign the new partition a drive letter.
